Named for Ruby Red Slippers from The Wizard of Oz and her Kansas connection.
Just flown from St. Joseph, MO to home…we were both tired!
The Santa Express plane…Ruby’s first ride is a good one!
Pilots Keith and Don….a perfect first flight.
It’s hard to imagine such a beautiful young thing can have such a story behind her already, but Ruby, being the precious jewel that she is, has just that.
First, her name came from a conversation about Kansas (one of her co-owners lives in Kansas City) and The Wizard of Oz and those ruby red slippers.
The next issue was to get to St. Jospeh, MO, to pick her up.
