31 years later I am still breeding because producing healthy, happy pups for wonderful families has been my passion.  I have had some real heartache with breedings not taking, being reabsorbed for no reason and I could have lost my Gabi had I not realized she was a bit off and gotten her to the vet to find out she had a life threatening uterine infection that resulted in her having to be spay.  Never  having even the first pup.    But to see the smiles and tears when I hand a new golden bundle to their new owners keeps me doing it even through all the work and hard times.  There is nothing like a new golden puppy.
